IN QUIZ BOWL, STUDENTS WILL ARTICULATE THEIR GROWING KNOWLEDGE BASE THROUGH ACADEMIC COMPETITIONS WITH TEAMS FROM AREA HIGH SCHOOLS. STUDENTS COMPETE IN TEAMS OF FOUR, TO ANSWER QUESTIONS ON A HODGEPODGE OF TOPICS (E.G., HISTORY, MATH, LITERATURE, ART, POLITICS, SCIENCE, POP CULTURE, ETC.) LIKE "TEAM JEOPARDY" ONLY MORE FUN. AS THE PLAYERS PRACTICE AND TRAVEL TO LEAGUE MEETS, A SENSE OF TEAM DEVELOPS AND STUDENTS CAN SHINE IN THEIR STRONGEST SUBJECTS AND APPRECIATE ONE ANOTHER'S DIVERSE KNOWLEDGE AND GIFTS.

Meeting Time: Monday and Wednesday after school beginning in October and November. Each practice lasts 45 minutes to 1 hour. Meets are on Thursdays beginning in January. Varsity players may qualify to compete in local tournaments and possibly a state competition in spring.
