REGULAR SCHOOL ATTENDANCE IS A CRITICAL FACTOR IN ACADEMIC SUCCESS. SINCE SCHOOL IS A PARTNERSHIP, PARENTS ARE EXPECTED TO MAKE SURE THEIR CHILD ATTENDS SCHOOL ON A REGULAR BASIS. FREQUENT ABSENCES FOR ANY REASON MAY ADVERSELY AFFECT THE STUDENT'S ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE AND CAN BE DISRUPTIVE TO OTHER STUDENTS' EDUCATIONAL PROGRESS.

IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW REGARDING ATTENDANCE.
It is very important to call the Attendance Office if your student will miss school or will be arriving late or leaving early, the Attendance Office also needs you to call and excuse them. If they are leaving early, they must have a pass from Attendance.
If a student misses ten or fewer minutes of a class, it is a tardy.
If a student misses more than ten minutes of a class it is an absence. Parent contact will then be needed to verify that absence.
